Job summary

Veritas Press, Inc. seeks an Academic Advisor to support the Dean of Students, Headmaster, and VSA Staff in guiding our Classic and Premium full-time students toward academic goals and graduation readiness.

The advisor serves as an expert on the Veritas curriculum (K-12) and college entrance requirements, coordinating between families, the Veritas office, and instructors. The role involves meeting families, updating student files, and processing paperwork, with a focus on excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in education highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and professional development.
• Schedule available consultation times on Google Calendar worksheet.
• Learn and apply the specific requirements of the Diploma and Certification program.
• Provide guidance services to families during consultations.
• Confirm course plans in Diploma Program. Keep students on track with graduation requirements.
• Register students for classes and order books.
• Inform applicable teachers of any information they may need to know about your advisee.
• Maintain clear record of communication between families, teachers, students, and office.
