Manhattanville University in Purchase, NY seeks an Academic Advisor to support a caseload of first-year and sophomore students, guiding them toward timely degree progress and major declaration.
As a member of the Academic Advising team, you will collaborate with faculty, staff, and the Registrar to monitor student progress, deliver workshops, and provide resources that foster student success. This full-time, in-person role offers a comprehensive benefits package including tuition remission.
The Academic Advisor serves as a member of the Academic Advising team and works alongside Advising staff, faculty, the Registrar, academic support staff, and student life staff to support the University’s efforts to maximize student progress and success. This includes monitoring and reporting on student progress to faculty, student life staff, the Registrar, and the Dean. The Academic Advisor will help students successfully transition into University and achieve academic milestones, including declaration of major. They will serve as the primary advisor to a caseload of first-year and sophomore students, and a resource to all undergraduate students throughout their University careers. The Academic Advisor will work as a member of the Academic Advising team to develop and implement student support programs, faculty training programs, participate in meetings regarding academic advising and student academic development, and make recommendations to the Dean for modifications and improvements.

The annual salary for this position is $66,300.
