Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Academic Advising Coordinator to lead the Academic Advising Team within the College of Liberal Arts. This role supervises advisors, guides undergraduate advising, and serves as the primary liaison to the Plan II Honors Program and other units.

Responsibilities include coordinating advising services, collaborating with departments, and contributing to college-wide advising policies to support student success and timely graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and eight years of experience working with college students or in an academic advising capacity
• Master’s degree and six years of experience
• Doctoral degree and four years of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership to and supervision of an academic advising team; hire, evaluate, and foster development of staff.
• Coordinate academic advising services for undergraduates among advisors and with academic departments.
• Develop and implement college-wide advising policies and procedures to improve quality of advising and student success.
