Position Specifics

The Division of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) seeks a student-focused Academic Adviser. This full-time, in-person position at University Park supports first- and second-year students in exploring academic options and navigating their educational journey.

Responsibilities
  1. Serve as the primary adviser for a roster of students, providing guidance both in-person and virtually.
  2. Support students in course selection and educational decision-making.
  3. Monitor academic progress and provide encouragement and strategies for success.
  4. Communicate university policies and curricular requirements.
  5. Participate in New Student Orientation and represent DUS at university-wide events.
  6. Engage in committees and initiatives to promote student success.

Qualifications
