Under the general supervision of a principal or designee and the immediate supervisor of a site teacher, tutors assist identified students in academic subjects. The goal of tutoring is to develop habits of mind and higher standards of academic achievement among students, in turn, increasing their postsecondary educational options upon high school graduation.
May perform any combination of the following at the school site:
Tutors must be high school graduates who are currently in good standing in local colleges or universities.
