Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Tempe, AZ, to support pricing processes across ACA markets. You will prepare models and experience studies, report to the Director of Actuarial, and work in a hybrid Tempe office with three days in-person per week.

The role requires a STEM degree, SOA credentialing, and 3+ years of relevant experience. Base pay ranges from $91,660 to $120,303, with benefits and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (SOA), or on track to become one.
• 3+ years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review core pricing and plan design models and provide actuarial insights for pricing decisions.
• Contribute to regulatory filings and develop viewpoints for pricing strategy.
• Investigate drivers of observed trends to support pricing decisions.
• Promote actuarial best practices in automation and documentation.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in onboarding analysts into existing processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
