Job summary
Stantec is seeking an early career AC Mitigation Engineer/Engineer in Training to join our Corrosion Prevention team in Houston. You will model AC interference, design mitigation systems, and review related reports to support pipeline safety and integrity.

Qualifications
- Electrical engineer with grounding/EMI/interference experience.
- Experience with CDEGS or similar electromagnetic/grounding tools.
- Licensed professional engineer or eligible to obtain licensure.
- Familiarity with CP and AC interference standards is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Model complex pipeline and powerline geometries using CDEGS and analyze data.
- Design AC interference mitigation systems to reduce risks to personnel and the pipeline.
- Review CP/AC interference reports and designs for accuracy.
- Monitor and evaluate CP and AC interference systems in the field.
- Coordinate installation aspects of mitigation and CP systems.
