Job summary
Acuren is seeking a Senior Cathodic Protection Engineer in Houston, TX to lead the design, installation, and maintenance of CP systems for critical infrastructure. The role requires advanced CP knowledge, leadership and field experience with impressed current and galvanic systems.
Responsibilities include field execution, proposals, and client coordination while ensuring asset integrity and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel and VBA skills to analyze CP data.
- Deep knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and mitigation methods.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficient with CP modeling software and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to travel to field locations as needed.
- Minimum 3 years using HawkEye for CP projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation and maintenance of CP systems for infrastructure.
- Execute and supervise field activities; prepare proposals, reports and cost tracking.
- Support design, inspection, repair and installation of CP systems for clients.
- Coordinate with clients and engineering firms to finalize design packages.
- Improve quality processes and update internal procedures.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, safety, and scope.
- Review data and perform analyses to support CP projects.
