Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking an AC/DC Motor Repair Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, rewind, test, and reassemble electric motors, generators, pumps, and rotating equipment in our repair shop. You will support quality, safety, and production goals while ensuring repairs meet OEM specifications and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include motor and generator inspections, disassembly and cleaning, mechanical and electrical repair, testing with Megger and other methods,

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, rewinding, testing, and reassembling electric motors and related equipment.
• Ability to document inspection results and repair actions.
• Familiar with OEM specifications and OSHA/EASA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections on motors, generators, and related equipment.
• Document as-found conditions and repair actions.
• Disassemble and clean components using approved methods.
• Replace bearings, seals, and mechanical components.
• Perform electrical winding repairs and rewinds.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing (Megger, PI, Hi-Pot, etc.).
• Assemble and finalize inspection and prepare for shipment.
