Romanoff Industries in Toledo, OH seeks an Electric Motor Mechanic to repair and recondition AC/DC motors, assembling parts and using cranes/forklifts to move components safely.

You will perform meggering, hipot, rotor tests, balancing, and document results, while following safety guidelines and completing paperwork on time. A strong mechanical instinct and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude; you understand how things work and can figure out how to fix them.
• Physical strength and stamina for hands-on shop work, lifting, moving, and working with heavy equipment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to interpret measurements accurately.
• Willingness to learn and grow; we'll teach you the rest.
• High school diploma, GED, or vocational certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Motor Repair & Reconditioning: Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble AC/DC electric motors and accessories to quality standards.
• Testing & Quality: Perform routine motor testing (megging, surge/hipot, rotor tests, balancing) and document results.
• Safety & paperwork: Follow safety guidelines and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time for each order.
