Job summary

HECO Inc. seeks a skilled motor technician to dismantle, inspect, and repair AC/DC motors up to high-performance levels. You’ll use micrometers and various testers to verify specifications and hand back motors that perform like new. A team-led environment focuses on diagnostics, machining, and final QA.

You’ll document all readings in tablet-based packets, adhere to customer specs, and collaborate with technicians across diagnostics and machining. PTO, healthcare plans, and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience dismantling and inspecting AC/DC motors and recording tolerances.
• Ability to assemble and test repaired motors to meet specifications.
• Skilled with electrical and mechanical testing equipment listed.

Keep industry movingFrom teardown to final verification, you’ll be the specialist who restores AC and DC motors through 15,000HP and 13,800v to dependable service. Picture taking a unit from a customer spec sheet, stripping it down, measuring with micrometers, rebuilding, and proving it on our AC/DC Test Panels—then handing back a motor that performs like new.How you’ll contributeDismantle and conduct detailed inspections on AC/DC electric motors, noting conditions and tolerances.
