Job summary

ABX AIR in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Dispatcher to manage domestic and international flight release, weather observations, and fuel planning. You will prepare weather briefings, determine payload, monitor in-flight status, and debrief flights after arrival.

You will coordinate with System Control, Maintenance Control, crews, airport management, customers, and handlers, and adapt to 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedules with rotating days off.

Qualifications

• Must have HSD/GED.
• Dispatcher’s License required.
• 1 year experience in flight operations with 121 carrier.
• Knowledge of aviation weather reports and flight operations.

What you need:

• Must have HSD/GED
• Dispatcher’s License
• 1 year experience in flight operations with 121 carrier to include 1 year as a Dispatcher with 121 carrier
• Advanced level of understanding and knowledge of the following: interpreting aviation weather reports and their impact on flight operations, aircraft performance, limitations and systems and their applicability, Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 121 and 91 airport operations, emergency procedures concerning mechanical failures, hijackings, bomb threats, aircraft accidents, incidents, etc., air traffic control system and procedures
