ABX Air, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to handle domestic and international flight release, weather briefings, fuel planning, payload calculations, and in‑flight monitoring. You will liaison with System Control, Maintenance Control and crews to resolve deviations and ensure operational readiness.
The role requires at least 1 year in flight operations with a 121 carrier, plus a Dispatcher’s license and strong FAR knowledge. Flexibility for shift variations is essential to support 24/7 operations.
The Dispatcher will be responsible for domestic and international flight release preparation; weather observations; prepare weather briefings; determine and order fuel; calculate payload; in-flight monitoring and debrief each flight; ensure all flights assigned are prepared; advise of any operational problems pertaining to assigned flights; communicate and coordinate deviations to plan with System Control, Maintenance Control and crews; coordinate operations with Airport Management, customers, and handlers; able work variable schedule to include 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift, with variable days off during the week.
