Job summary

Bruin is seeking an ABS/securitisation analytics professional in a hybrid role (New York or Los Angeles, 3 days in office). You will join the Asset-Based Finance investment team, analyze existing deals, and develop Power BI dashboards to monitor portfolios with direct access to portfolio managers.

You will query and validate transaction data, automate reporting, and help translate data-driven insights into actionable investment decisions.

Qualifications

• ABS/securitisation experience in banking or asset management.
• Understanding of ABS transactions and collateral analysis or monitoring.
• Strong SQL skills to query databases and analyze datasets.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate with investment professionals.
• Degree in a STEM or quantitative discipline.
• Interest in technology, automation and AI-assisted development.
• Python experience and familiarity with cloud data platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with portfolio managers to understand deal structures and monitoring needs.
• Query, analyze and validate transaction and collateral data to monitor credit metrics and investment performance.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for deal-level and portfolio monitoring.
• Automate recurring analyses and improve reporting processes using SQL and BI tools.
• Identify data issues and translate findings into clear, actionable insights for investment professionals.
