Job summary

Abarca Health LLC is hiring a Senior Business Analytics Specialist to lead data-driven initiatives, manage data collection, mining, and modeling, and develop dashboards for clients and internal stakeholders.

You will partner with BI teams to ensure data integrity and design data models, while translating business needs into actionable insights and scalable analytics solutions. Hybrid work with on-site Puerto Rico days.

Qualifications

• Degree in analytics, data science, health informatics, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 6+ years of data analytics experience, ideally in healthcare/managed care.
• Strong SQL, complex queries, and data warehouse skills.
• Advanced Tableau/Power BI skills for interactive dashboards.
• Experience with Excel and Qlikview.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytics solutions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create dashboards and materials to convey complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
• Analyze ad-hoc requests: market trends, sales, and store-level performance.
• Design scalable big data and predictive models to uncover patterns and forecast outcomes.
• Develop data collection, mining, standardization, and analytics processes.
• Identify data quality issues with business and technical teams.
• Collaborate with BI to optimize data warehouse architecture and modeling.
• Communicate results through organized presentations with clear methodology.
• Lead planning and creation of standard/ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Act as project lead to guide key decision-support initiatives.
