Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or obtained within 12 months.
• Must sit for ABO exam and obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Willingness to obtain necessary state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Stock and present merchandise in the Optical area and handle signings, pricing, and damaged goods.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases, measure prescription data, and perform frame adjustments.
• Process optical orders, verify prescriptions, and coordinate with labs and optometrists.
• Operate POS, collect payments, handle returns, and manage insurance claims where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and calibration of optical equipment and assist OD services as needed.
