Job summary

NEWITY is seeking a Cash Operations Analyst to manage processing for its asset-based lending portfolio. The role blends loan servicing with cash operations, including borrower base reviews, collections, and cash application in Jack Henry.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in loan servicing or cash operations, hands-on ABL experience, and proficiency in Excel. Opportunity to grow into broader servicing plus loan/cash operations. Located in the Chicago area with on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in loan servicing, loan operations, or cash operations.
• Hands-on ABL experience preferred, including borrower base review and collateral monitoring.
• Jack Henry loan servicing experience strongly preferred; similar platforms ok.
• Proficiency in Excel for reconciliations, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to create SOPs and procedural documentation and manage high-volume work.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication with borrowers and partners.
• Detail-oriented with high quality control and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review borrowing base certificates and collateral reporting submitted by ABL borrowers.
• Monitor borrowing availability and flag exceptions to credit and portfolio teams.
• Manage ABL collections and cash processing, including cash application and posting.
• Process and reconcile advances, paydowns, and payments with daily cash reconciliation.
• Perform loan servicing activities in Jack Henry, including account maintenance and payoff processing.
• Follow up with borrowers on missing reporting and past-due payments.
• Maintain audit-ready loan files and supporting documentation.
• Prepare cash, collections, and ABL portfolio reporting for internal/external partners.
• Create and maintain SOPs for ABL processing; manage workload and backlog.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as needed.
