Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Five years of experience in Asset Based Lending or related field.
• Experience with collateral field examinations.
• Strong understanding of lending regulations and bank regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and analysis of loan collateral, including borrowing base certificates, A/R agings, inventory reports, and appraisals.
• Process advance requests, validates there is sufficient availability, and obtain approvals.
• Review collateral performance trends and communicate analysis to colleagues and clients.
• Evaluate asset values and determine loan eligibility with accuracy.
• Monitor collateral for compliance with loan conditions and identify issues.
• Verify borrowers' cash receipts and record in loan monitoring system.
• Communicate with borrowers and portfolio managers to resolve collateral issues.
• Prepare detailed reports on loan collateral and present findings to senior management.
• Complete and review collateral analysis and address reconciliation matters.
• Perform full validation and reconciliation of borrower-reported collateral to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze ineligibles and reserves and recommend changes.
• Conduct daily reconciliations of loan balances, advances, and cash collections.
