Positive Outlooks LLC is looking for a compassionate ABI Recovery Support Staff member to join our New Britain, CT team. This role involves providing hands-on support and encouragement to individuals recovering from Acquired Brain Injuries, assisting with daily living tasks and rehabilitation activities.

You will work with a care team including case managers, therapists, and family members to monitor progress and promote independence in a safe, empowering environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with ABI/TBI or disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Mansioni

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with ABI.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, meals, and household tasks.
• Implement recovery and rehabilitation plans under clinical guidance.
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, changes in condition.
• Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments and activities.
• Foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence.
• Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and family as part of a care team.
