Positive Outlooks LLC in New Britain, CT is seeking a compassionate ABI Recovery Support Staff member to help individuals on their recovery journey with hands-on daily living support, empathy, and encouragement.

You will assist with personal care, hygiene, meal prep, and coordination of care, while documenting progress and collaborating with therapists, case managers, and families to promote independence and safety.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with ABI/TBI or cognitive/physical disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

About the Role

Positive Outlooks LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated ABI Recovery Support Staff member to join their team in New Britain, CT. • Implement individualized recovery and rehabilitation plans under clinical guidance
• Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition
• Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and programs
• Foster a safe, supportive, and empowering environment that promotes independence
• Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and family members as part of a care team

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred
• Prior experience working with individuals with ABI, TBI, or other cognitive/physical disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed
