Positive Outlooks LLC in New Britain, CT is seeking a compassionate ABI Recovery Support Staff member to assist individuals recovering from Acquired Brain Injuries, providing hands-on support and encouragement.

You will work as part of a care team under clinical guidance to promote independence, safety, and well-being, with responsibilities including transport, documentation, and collaboration with case managers.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• Experience with ABI/TBI or disabilities preferred.
• Pass background check and meet state regulatory requirements.

Mansioni

About the Role

Positive Outlooks LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated ABI Recovery Support Staff member to join their team in New Britain, CT. • Monitor and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition
• Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and programs
• Foster a safe, supportive, and empowering environment that promotes independence
• Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and family members as part of a care team

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred
• Prior experience working with individuals with ABI, TBI, or other cognitive/physical disabilities preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed
