Job summary

Positive Outlooks LLC in New Britain, CT seeks a compassionate ABI Recovery Support Staff member to join the team and help individuals recovering from Acquired Brain Injuries. You will provide hands-on daily living support, assist with personal care, and help implement recovery plans under clinical guidance.

The role emphasizes safety, empathy, and collaboration with therapists, case managers, and family to promote independence and meaningful participation in community activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience working with individuals with ABI, TBI, or other cognitive/physical disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts as needed.
