Qualifications

  • Must have 1+ years in Christian education.
  • Must have 1+ years in sales.
  • 1+ years in Christian school administration preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales plan each year that conforms to home office expectations and follows the established Abeka sales process.
  • Present curriculum opportunities and provide teacher training and support to schools within the assigned territory.
  • Follow the established sales process, continually improve sales acumen, and adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a good relationship with all customers and communicate effectively and promptly with customers and management.
  • Practice safe work methods, report personal or vehicular accidents in the prescribed manner, and follow all laws and company policies related to vehicle operation.
  • Maintain company vehicle and equipment according to guidelines, plan weekly travels responsibly, and submit expense reports and activity logs in a timely manner.
  • Keep personal grooming and inventory condition in an optimal condition to meet customer needs.

About the Role

The Abeka School Representative serves a customer base of Christian and other private schools in the Southwest Territory, presenting curriculum opportunities and offering teacher training and support after the sale.

Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or Education (required).
  • Master’s in Business Administration, Master’s in Education, or other advanced degree (preferred).
Experience
  • 1+ years in Christian education.
  • 1+ years in sales.
  • 1+ years in Christian school administration (preferred).
Skills & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Agreement with Pensacola Christian College’s mission, purpose, doctrinal position, philosophy of education, and faculty & staff commitments.
  • Assessment may be required to be considered for this position.
