Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston, MA is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to support Abdominal Transplant services across inpatient and ambulatory care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• License Massachusetts Pharmacist required.
• Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• 1 year Pharmacy residency or 3 years of Clinical Pharmacy experience in hospital setting.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Practices pharmacy per laws, rules and departmental procedures.
• Maintains credentials in accordance with state boards.
• Functions as a therapeutic expert and provides pharmacology guidance.
• Leads immunosuppressive management discussions during rounds.
• Develops transplant protocols, guidelines, and clinical pathways.
• Precepts residents and pharmacy learners.
• Provides educational information to clinicians and staff.
• Documents patient care activities and supports pharmacy operations.
