Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an Inpatient Abdominal Transplant Clinical Pharmacist to cover abdominal transplant patients and to serve as the pharmacotherapy expert for the interdisciplinary transplant team.

The role emphasizes clinical review on rounds, education for patients and healthcare professionals, development of protocols, and participation in quality improvement and research. Residency training and interprofessional collaboration are key components.

Formación

• Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Massachusetts
• Board Certification in relevant specialty is preferred, required within 18 months of hiring
• Experience in transplant pharmacotherapy and collaborative practice preferred

Responsabilidades

• Review transplant pharmacotherapy on interdisciplinary rounds and provide expert recommendations.
• Lead patient and healthcare professional education within the transplant program.
• Contribute to protocols, guidelines, quality improvement projects, and research.
• Train pharmacy residents and Doctor of Pharmacy students.
