Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Pediatric Sales Representative to promote and grow Abbott Nutritional products in pediatric and obstetric settings in Montgomery, AL. The role requires building strong relationships with doctors and staff, understanding clinical data, and driving territory growth.

You will manage product launches, coordinate with Dietitians and nurses, and travel within the Montgomery area. A bachelor's degree and medical sales experience are preferred, with the ability to lift 15 lbs as

Our location in Montgomery, AL currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Representative. This position is responsible for the promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in pediatric and obstetric office settings.

What You’ll Work On

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals selling Abbott products.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
• New product launches.
• The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Effective administrative skills, organizing your time.
• Budget management.
• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long term goals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• The ideal candidate would include experience selling in a medical setting as well as healthcare professionals (RDs/RNs) with preferred experience in pediatrics.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs to assist with stocking and the movement of pediatric products.

Miscellaneous:

• The ideal candidate will live in Montgomery, AL or surrounding area including Birmingham, AL.
• Territory footprint including surrounding Montgomery area covering the lower Alabama.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
