The Opportunity

As Store Manager of our Charleston boutique, you will serve as the heart of our store. You will lead and mentor a talented team, curate high-touch customer experiences, drive business growth through local clienteling and eventing, and refine operational processes. This position goes beyond traditional store management—it is an opportunity to run your store with an entrepreneurial mindset, bringing fresh ideas, process improvements, and community engagement to life.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and empower an already stellar retail team by fostering a supportive, positive, and growth-oriented work environment.


• Coach team members daily on styling expertise, customer service standards, and personal performance goals.


• Promote a culture of continuous improvement (\"1% better every day\"), encouraging curiosity and creative problem-solving.

Clienteling, Styling & Brand Ambassadorship

• Deliver elevated service to local repeat clients as well as visiting out-of-town guests enjoying their time in Charleston.


• Embody and convey the art of dressing up, bringing personal passion for styling into every interaction.


• Plan and execute engaging in-store events and trunk shows to deepen customer loyalty and drive revenue.


• Actively represent Abbey Glass within the local Charleston community through networking and collaborative partnerships.

Operations & Business Innovation

• Drive store sales performance, client retention, and retail KPIs with an entrepreneurial spirit.


• Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, weekend coverage, visual merchandising, and inventory/shipment processing.


• Create effective, balanced work schedules that optimize coverage while respecting team work-life balance.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement, bringing new ideas and solution-focused methods to elevated daily operations.
