Job summary

Acton Boxborough Regional Schools is seeking an ABA Tutor for the Boardwalk Lower program in Acton, MA. This full-time role supports students with autism and related disorders across K-6, implementing ABA-based curricula and providing direct student assistance in daily activities and inclusion opportunities.

You will collect data, assist with behavior support, and prep materials to support individualized education plans. Qualifications include a four-year degree and experience with autism.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree required or preferred.
• Experience with children with Autism is required.
• Training with Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs and curriculum developed by the special education teacher or related service providers.
• Provide direct support to students' needs including toileting and handwashing.
• Respond to and support student behavior including aggressive behaviors.
• Support students during inclusion opportunities such as lunch, recess, and specials.
• Data collection and entry, consultation, and material prep as needed.
