Job summary

Lexington Public Schools in Lexington, Massachusetts seeks an ABA Tech/ABA Tutor to support secondary students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role uses Applied Behavior Analysis to implement individualized academic and behavior programs, collect data, and develop social skills and activities of daily living.

The position is part-time (32-37.25 hours per week) with benefits per the LEA Unit C agreement; starting August 31, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Classroom experience preferred.
  • ABA experience preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • Implement individualized academic and behavior programs.
  • Provide instruction using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including discrete trial instruction, task analysis, and naturalistic teaching techniques.
  • Implement student-specific behavior plans to decrease challenging behaviors and increase functional behaviors.
  • Collect ongoing data and summarize data to monitor students’ progress.
  • Implement programs in the home to increase appropriate social skills and activities of daily living and facilitate social interactions when necessary.
  • Model implementation of academic and behavioral programs for parents.
  • Gather and maintain students’ materials, data sheets, and program notebooks.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
