Job summary

Damar ABA is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to train and support ABA staff. You will conduct internal trainings, new hire orientation, and ongoing development using LMS tools, with focus on clinical and administrative excellence.

Role requires collaboration with the ABA Learning and Development Director and subject matter experts, delivering both live and online sessions, and ensuring an engaging, effective learner experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, adult learning, or human services preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in education or mentoring preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS) preferred.
• Must obtain CMT Trainer Certification within 6 months of start date and must have RBT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement learning and development programs to drive organizational improvement.
• Develop teaching outlines and instructional methods for individual and group learning opportunities.
• Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders (New Hire Orientation, CMT, certifications).
• Deliver synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and local environments.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to address learning needs and improve clinical and administrative practices.
• Maintain a positive learner experience by managing schedules, content, and interactions.
