Job summary

ABA Centers of New Jersey in Hackensack, NJ is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavioral Technicians (BT) full-time. We offer paid training, mentorship, and a clear path for career advancement through our ABA Academy of Excellence to help you prepare for and pass the RBT exam.

Starting pay is competitive, with BTs at $22.25/hour and RBTs at $24.60/hour, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of relevant experience (BT/RBT or related).
• Afternoon, evening, weekend availability.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Must be 21+ years old in NJ.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately
• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training
