Job summary

Golden Touch ABA in Maryland seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with children and adolescents with autism under BCBA supervision, implementing personalized intervention plans and collecting progress data in home, school, and community settings.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold a high school diploma (bachelor’s in psychology or education preferred), with strong communication, patience, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s in psychology/education preferred.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs; ABA experience a plus.
• Confidentiality and professionalism required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Patient, empathetic, with a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-specific behavioral intervention plans as designed by a BCBA.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage and reinforce desired behaviors.
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
• Provide services in home, school, and community settings as needed.
