Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE-Autism Therapy Services seeks an entry-level Behavior Technician to support ABA therapy for children ages 2-21 in center and home settings. You will implement skill acquisition programs, collect data, and work under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor to ensure high quality care.

The role involves flexible hours, possible evenings and weekends, and travel between locations. We offer paid training, RBT certification prep paid by the company, and a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree and/or enrolled in psychology, communication disorders, education or related field preferred.
• High interest and willingness to learn about, understand and work with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Eagerness to learn about Applied Behavior Analysis and grow as a Behavior Technician.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies, preferred.
• Ability to communicate proactively, timely, effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholder types.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small group therapy to children and young adults with autism under supervision.
• Maintain targeted caseload hours of therapy per week.
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Implement treatment plans across multiple domains (communication, social behavior, readiness skills, self-care, replacement behavior).
• Collect and maintain accurate records of client performance through data collection and notes on an online platform.
• Travel to home and community environments as needed.
• Assist with assessments under supervision and ensuring proper training.
