Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work directly with clients under BCBA supervision, implementing individualized intervention plans and teaching essential life skills in home, school, and community settings.

You will provide one-on-one ABA instruction, collect progress data, and support clients in communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living, while collaborating with the BCBA and family members to ensure consistency and progress.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions, implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity, and collect accurate data.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings as needed.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining client confidentiality, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs in reaching their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA techniques, including DTT, naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
