Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy in Ridgefield, New Jersey is seeking compassionate ABA Therapists (Behavior Technicians) to join our team, supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder through supervised, evidence-based intervention.

Under the guidance of a BCBA, you will implement behavior intervention plans, provide one-on-one ABA instruction, collect data, assist clients in developing communication and daily living skills, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary staff.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
  • Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
  • Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.

ABA Therapist Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach essential life skills in various settings, including homes, schools, and community settings. Behavior Technicians play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based interventions, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their goals.

ABA Therapist Responsibilities:
