Job summary

Pine Rest is seeking an ABA Technician to assess patient needs, implement treatment plans with an interdisciplinary team, and modify behavior using ABA under supervision. You will support children, adults, and families with sensitivity and professionalism.

The role requires knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder, BCBA/ RBT credentials preferred, and strong organizational and communication skills to manage care plans and documentation.

Qualifications

What Will You Do?

As an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. This position will assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs, and will implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of the Certified ABA Specialist. The ABA Technician must demonstrate excellent customer service, be able to manage stressful situations, be able to work with others, have great organizational skills and ability to provide support and empathy as needed to children, adults, and families. The ABA Technician must be responsible, reliable, able to work independently, have exceptional problem-solving skills. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents and all other family members.

• Sustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually.
• Utilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors.
• Apply ABA processes for behavior modification.

What Does This Role Require?

• Education/Experience: Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred.
• Knowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Understanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise.
• On the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles.
• Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health are desired but not required.

The equivalent base pay range for this position is $18.04 - $27.07. Your interview and offer letter will specify whether the role is hourly or salaried. Please note that this range does not include potential shift differentials, incentives, or bonuses, which may be part of the total compensation package. Final base pay will be determined based on location, experience, education, certifications, and FTE status.
