Job summary

Verbal Beginnings in Pittsburgh is seeking an ABA Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in their natural environments, including home, school, and community settings.

You will implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collect data, and help families through training and progress monitoring. A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's is preferred. Training to become an RBT is provided, with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion and the desire to help children with autism achieve their goals.
• Genuine desire to learn about Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
• High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress) preferred.

Responsibilities

• ABA Technicians work under the direct supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans addressing communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs and social skills.
• Collects and records data to monitor progress and updates the treatment plan with the clinical supervisor.
