Job summary

Sunrise ABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver individualized ABA therapy across client homes, schools, and community settings in the Dayton area. You will work under the direct supervision of a BCBA, implementing plans, collecting data, and supporting skill development for children with ASD.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and family collaboration to ensure consistency across environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience implementing ABA programs or working with children with special needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans as designed and directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in home, school, and community settings.
• Utilize positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress during each session.
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior and progress to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and attend team meetings to discuss client development.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
• Receive regular feedback and supervision from BCBA to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Collaborate effectively with clients' families and other team members to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
• Provide support and training to family members and caregivers as needed.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
