What Will You Do?

As an ABA Technician at Pine Rest, you will assess patient care needs, implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, continually reassess those plans, and apply behavior change procedures under the guidance of a Certified ABA Specialist. You will demonstrate excellent customer service, manage stressful situations, work with others, and provide support and empathy to children, adults, and families. You must be reliable, self‑motivated, and possess exceptional problem‑solving and organizational skills. You are driven to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Establish a positive working relationship with patients, parents, and all other family members.
• Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families.
• Function as a member of the treatment team.
• Understand the principles of behaviorally based programming and design.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities.
• Utilize processes in place to measure patient behaviors.
• Apply ABA processes for behavior modification.

Education and Experience

• Registered Behavioral Technician Certification preferred.
• Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder through education or experience.
• Understanding of current therapy principles in your area of expertise.
• On‑the‑job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles.
• Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work, or other related fields is desired but not required.
