Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Austin, TX is seeking a School Readiness Behavior Therapist (Bachelor's Degree required) to support children ages 5–12 in ABA-based school readiness goals. This full-time role offers hands-on therapy, data collection, and team collaboration in a supportive environment.

You will implement individualized plans, participate in training to earn RBT certification, and work closely with a team focused on growth and success for the children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Experience in childcare, nanny/babysitter, preschool, tutoring is a plus but not required.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and move with children during sessions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children aged 5 to 12 using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple data for the team.
• Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active during sessions and keep a safe, organized therapy space.
• Be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that celebrates progress.
