Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks an ABA clinical leader to design and oversee ABA services for autism and developmental disabilities. You will supervise the treatment team, train caregivers and providers, and coordinate care.

The role requires a Master’s degree, BCBA and COBA within 30 days, Marcus Crisis Prevention training within 60 days, and at least two years’ autism experience. Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, speech, or a related field.
• BCBA certification within 30 days of hire.
• COBA certification within 30 days of hire.
• Marcus Crisis Prevention Program safety training within 60 days of employment.
• Two years of experience specializing in autism spectrum disorders.
• Experience as a BCBA, Case Supervisor, Senior RBT, or similar.
• Experience completing functional behavior assessments and behavior plans.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical care using evidence-based ABA procedures and developmentally appropriate norms.
• Designs ABA intervention services for each client by assessing needs and developing goals.
• Assists in submitting prior authorizations, behavioral assessments, and treatment plans.
• Provides supervision to BCBA candidates and RBTs and ensures supervision documentation.
• Conducts parent training and serves as liaison with schools and other providers.
• Leads in-service trainings and community outreach activities.
• Protects confidentiality and maintains professional relationships.
