Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a School Paraprofessional to provide one-to-one behavioral and academic support to students with IEPs in a school-based setting. The role is suitable for RBTs and Behavioral Interventionists under a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).

Position offers a school-day schedule, full-time hours, and on-site work in Newark, Delaware. Training and supervision align with BACB standards to ensure quality support."

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA strategies and behavioral intervention techniques.
• Strong empathy and understanding of developmental stages and student behavioral needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational and behavioral support teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and data collection skills.
• Ability to physically support students in active classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement student IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelity.
• Provide one-to-one academic and behavioral support services to students.
• Assist teachers and collaborate with educational and behavioral teams to support classroom and school routines.
• Accurately collect, graph, and maintain student behavioral data.
• Utilize safety de-escalation and physical management techniques when necessary for safety.
• Attend supervision sessions to maintain BACB compliance.
• Support students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goals.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned.
