Job summary

Damar ABA is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join our ABA team. You will provide direct training to employees, facilitate new hire orientation, and support learning initiatives across the organization.

In this role you will deliver both internal and external trainings, work with subject matter experts, and use LMS tools to track progress and outcomes. You will help develop programs to improve clinical and administrative performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, education, adult learning, or human services preferred.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in education or mentoring preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Software (LMS) preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain CMT Trainer Certification within 6 months.
• Must have Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning sessions, schedules, and tracking systems for ABA employees including new hire orientation and certifications.
• Delivers training to internal stakeholders using synchronous and asynchronous methods.
• Provide immediate feedback to ABA therapists after observations and checklists.
• Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment and ensure alignment with clinical goals.
• Design and implement learning programs to drive organizational improvement.
• Collaborate with the ABA Learning and Development Director and SMEs to develop training projects.
