Job summary

Weymouth Public Schools is seeking an Education Support Professional - ABA at Thomas W. Hamilton Elementary School to support students with disabilities under supervision of the building administrator and ABA staff.

The role requires an associate degree or 48 college credits, completion of an RBT training course, and preferred RBT certification, with familiarity with IEPs/504 plans and data collection. The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families and ongoing progress

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher, or 48 college credits required.
• RBT training course completed is required.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Familiarity with IEPs/504 plans preferred.
• Experience with data collection/documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction designed by special educators to meet student needs.
• Assist students in achieving IEP goals and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, BCBA, and service providers to collect data.
• Implement ABA strategies and de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Communicate with families and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by school administration.
