Job summary

Hopkinton Public School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional w/ ABA at Elmwood Elementary School in Hopkinton, MA. This full-time role, starting Aug 31, 2026, offers salary per the collective bargaining agreement, commensurate with experience, and an hourly range of $29.26-$31.04.

The paraprofessional will provide social-emotional, behavioral, and instructional support to students, working under supervision of the BCBA and teachers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or ParaPro exam required.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral.
• Experience providing direct personal care to students.
• ABA training/experience; RBT certification preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE license in related field a plus.
• Other qualifications as determined by the Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Supports students and teachers based on IEP/504 plans.
• Monitors student behavior per IEP/BIP.
• Provides discrete trial instruction and data collection.
• Collaborates with teachers and BCBA to adapt support.
• Maintains progress data and assists in crisis situations.
• Assists students in accessing curriculum and modeling behaviors.
• May provide direct personal care if required.
