Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or successful completion of the ParaPro exam.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to children and adults.
• Experience providing direct assistance to students to manage personal care.
• ABA training and/or experience required; Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE license in a related field is a plus; alternatives may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom and special education staff using ABA and related methodologies to support students with diverse disabilities.
• Monitor and record student behavior and progress per IEP/BIP.
• Provide discrete trial instruction and data collection; adapt strategies as needed.
• Provide crisis support using district safety protocols when required.
• Assist with personal care where needed and support academics and transitions.
