Job summary

Gersh Autism Academy seeks a Curriculum and Instructional Coach to mentor teachers, model best practices, and coach staff within its ABA-based educational framework, located in Issaquah, WA. The role includes leading curriculum strategy, standards alignment, and professional development across sites.

Travel across the network is required. You will oversee onboarding, coaching systems, and the New Teacher Mentor program, ensuring high-quality instruction for students with autism and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of experience in special education, including curriculum development, instructional leadership, and staff supervision.
• Experience leading curriculum or instructional initiatives across multiple sites or at an organizational level.
• Administrative or supervisory certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set vision, strategy, and long-range roadmap for educational curriculum in Washington.
• Gather needs and implement into WA schools.
• Collaborate on curriculum and instructional program selection and lifecycle management organization-wide.
• Establish curriculum standards, pacing frameworks, and instructional quality benchmarks.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of training across all school sites.
• Develop scalable onboarding, coaching, and professional development systems.
• Oversee New Teacher Mentor program and other PD structures.
• Monitor training standards for core systems and assessments.
• Design systems to evaluate curriculum effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws.
• Analyze student outcomes and translate findings into actionable strategy.
• Prepare reports for executive leadership on curriculum and training outcomes.
• Partner with leaders to align curriculum with organizational mission.
• Represent curriculum priorities in budgeting and accreditation processes.
• Stay current with research and integrate emerging practices.
• Travel regularly to school locations to support implementation.
