Job summary

MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy in Waterford, MI is seeking an ABA Coordinator to coach and mentor behavior technicians and advance ABA services within our clinic.

You will support technicians, conduct fidelity and IOA checks, host RBT study sessions, help technicians obtain RBT certification within 90 days, and collaborate with speech, occupational, and physical therapists to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for children and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Preferred enrollment in Verified Course Sequence for BCBA certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete new hire technician training.
• Provide ongoing support for behavior technicians.
• Conduct fidelity and IOA checks on behavior technicians monthly.
• Hold RBT study sessions for technicians preparing to take the RBT exam.
• Assist technicians in obtaining RBT certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Assist ABA Manager with annual RBT competency evaluations.
• Provide feedback for annual performance reviews.
• Maintain monthly RBT supervision logs and core certifications.
• Review BT/RBT notes for clinical content and accuracy.
• Coordinate with billing on note issues and quarterly EMR audits.
• Participate in ABA staff meetings and clinic Coordination of Care meetings.
