Job summary

Achieving True Self (ATS) is seeking individuals to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with paid training. You will provide one-on-one ABA-based support to children with developmental and behavioral challenges in home or community settings, while receiving paid training to become an RBT.

What is an RBT?

As a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you’ll be using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to create positive change in the lives of children. What You’ll Be Doing as a Behavior Technician:

• Make a difference: Help children thrive by creating an environment where learning is fun, exciting, and personalized to each child’s unique needs.
• Implement ABA techniques: Use individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans to support children and their families.
• Collect data and document progress using our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, and assist with administrative tasks.

• A deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of children and families
• Professional experience with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., Nanny, Teacher, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, etc.) OR relevant educational background in psychology, sociology, education, or related fields
• A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 18 years old
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (ride-sharing or public transportation are not permitted for this position)
• Willingness to start part-time while your caseload grows
• Comfort using technology for documentation and administrative tasks
