Job summary

A behavioral therapy organization in Humble, Texas is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate possesses communication and interpersonal skills, is patient and empathetic, and holds valid RBT certification. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing therapy plans, and training caregivers. This role offers flexible scheduling and can be full-time, part-time, or contract.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) through the BACB is required - sponsorship available.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to determine challenging behaviors.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on client goals.
• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions.
• Assist in the development of ABA programs as needed.
• Conduct parent/caregiver training sessions to reinforce ABA techniques.
